The elevator, a local icon, has always been family-owned, transitioning from the Moore to the Teague family in 2023. Originally built in 1947, with an expansion in 1954, it now stands as the Hamlin Elevator. With a storage capacity of 1,416,000 bushels, it remains a vital grain storage hub.
